Ronald Winston Dillard, Jr. is a native of Petersburg VA. Ronald started acting at the age of twelve in plays at his childhood church. He attended Petersburg High School where he continued acting in school plays and pursuing acting opportunities. In 1998 Ronald won Best Actor at the Central District Play Festival. That y
ear Ronald would also serve as an extra in New Millennium Studios first feature film “Asunder” staring Blair Underwood and Debbi Morgan. Ronald would further develop his skill for his craft of acting while attending Richard Bland College. There Ronald directed his first play “Medal of Honor Rag” written by Tom Cole, in 2000. In addition to directing Ronald also played the lead role of Sgt. Dale Jackson. In 2001 Ronald went on tour with the Christmas Musical “The Redemption”. In 2003 Ronald returned to Richard Bland College to direct and portray Dr. Martin Luther King in the acclaimed stage play “The Meeting” written by Jeff Stetson. From 2004 to 2006 Ronald could be seen at The Saint Paul’s Baptist Church in plays such as “Church Folks Are a Trip” and “A Harlem Christmas Carol”. Ronald became well known for his hilarious character The Reverend Deacon Doctor Trustee Leroy Brown. On February 4, 2008 Ronald founded Ron Winston Entertainment, LLC and went to work writing, producing, directing and co-starting in Ron Winston Entertainment’s first release “I Deserve Better” which premiered on June 20, 2008 at The Henrico Theatre located in Richmond Va.
