About the play
Keshia is a smart, caring, faithful young lady with a bright future ahead of her. All she wants it to graduate at the top of her class, get a great job and make her boyfriend Kevin happy. The problem is Kevin is an abusive, jealous, insecure man who believes all women lie, cheat and steal. Both of their childhoods have shaped them into the people they are today. Having both grown up in abusive households they have developed into two different people. When Keshia’s, family and friends speak out against the abuse she suffers they are horrified when their warnings are ignored. Even Kevin’s father Carl, a former abuser now reformed has to face the monster he created in his son. Having been warned about the dangers of staying in an abusive relationship will Keshia get out before it’s too late?
